Very good bolt in for a 96", little undercammed for the 103" but produces great torque in every range and a wonderful cam for touring (with a little racing fun too). Very quiet and well mannered. No cam noise like some of the other cams out there. We tested SIX different bolt in camshafts back-to-back to provide an accurate comparison of results. Our test bike was a 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide 107″ Milwaukee Eight and was equipped with a Screamin’ Eagle Stage 1 air cleaner, Jackpot M8 2/1/2 head pipe, S&S MK45 slip on mufflers, and each cam was fully tuned with the Dynojet Power Vision.Recommended applications for S&S Cams: 1984-1999. 508: Bolt-in cam intended for stock engines with less than 10:1 compression ratio. The 777 cam is not a low end torque cam and you need to run the bike over the 3000 rpm range to get the cam to perform. For a stock engine with a stage 1 upgrade the TW 222 or the TW 555 is a much better cam option.1313 posts · Joined 2009. #10 · Jul 7, 2012. 100/100 is super easy on a 103"er,105/110 is also very easy and still be a VERY reliable & ride.getting into the 110+ isnt a big deal, but gets into some issues that most riders dont want to deal with.my suggestions: set compresion @ 10.25-1. 1.900 street port heads. The smooth camshaft lobe ramps are gentler on valve-train components and reduce valve-train noise and wear.
